That's a lot better than my coil.  I had a very limited supply of materials. 
  First, there isn't anything here.  Second, I could only use a nine volt 
battery because of my parents.  Third, I didn't have a grounding rod.  And 
last, It was so small that I couldn't tune it.
     But it still lit up a small fluorescent bulb from a few inches away.
