Laser triggered spark gaps

Hi All,

The subject of laser triggered gaps is not new. The problem usually comes
down to the fact that the laser ends up being far more complex than is
worthwhile. The archives at www.pupman-dot-com when searched for "laser
triggered spark gap" will get 106 hits that have all the past info on this.
However, I have never heard of anyone ACTUALLY making one???

I have made a few nitrogen lasers but they all had spark gaps too. I
suppose on could trigger the laser's spark gap with yet another laser... ;-)))

Just an observation...

Cheers,

	Terry
