Gary,

Your's are the longest sparks I've heard of.  I assume you used a short
burst of CW of 3mS duration or so for each pulse?  I hope you're able to
tell us more details of the demonstration; how the sparks looked and
sounded (straight sparks or branched, etc.), the brightness, the power 
draw, the size and details of the extra coil, resonant frequency, etc.
