  Work continues on the Biggg Coil here in Oklahoma.   The 15 kVA 20 kV
transformer winding will be finished this weekend & tested at low power
input.   The steel enclosure is half way finished.   I expect the core to
be lowered into the enclosure next weekend.   Around 20 LB of enamel wire
are wound on the core for the high voltage windings.   The coil forms are
fibreglass with conventional Kraft paper insulation for the layers.  
3/8" gaps are used on the primary & secondary coil forms for proper oil
cooling & circulation.
