Re: How bout this for a gap? A disk interrupted gap.



Hi Garry,

        I have tried this but the arc cuts the disk up.  The arc is about the
equivalent of an arc welder flame and it slices right through most materials. 
An Al2O3 (alumina) disk my survive but I never tried that.
