Actually compared to my winding, that's pretty good! I've seen FAR worse
from myself with my best efforts. The old hands don't work like they used to
but at least I haven't poked my eye out with my thumb! ;-) The coil worked
just fine.

So, don't worry, the worst I can see happening is stuff getting caught in
the gaps so just make sure you fill them gaps good.
