Hi samuel,
I looked at your web site and noticed that you used Wima's MPK 10 capacitors
for your MMC. Wima's catalog lists the MPK 10 as  "Polypropylene capacitors
for pulse applications with electrodes of double-sided metallized carrier
film." What you need is the FKP 1 which is listed as "Polypropylene
capacitors for pulse applications with metal foil electrode, internally
series-connected for very high current ratings." The FPK 1 combines both
metal foil electrodes (current-carrying capacity) and metallized
film(self_healing). The metallized film alone will not carry the high
currents generated in your TC's tank circuit.
