Hello, Bob,

All I can tell you about Delrin is that it ie very flexible, and strong. It 
can bend repeatedly, and takes a long time to fatigue. Another use for delrin 
is in harpsichords.. the plectra (which pluck the strings) are now made of 
delrin, as opposed to the traditional crow quill because of its durability. 
I'm not sure about its heat rating though.....
