"rotaty" gap

Hi,

has anyone already tried this type of SG:
A metal cylinder as one electrode, and a motor driven metallic fan inside
it as the other electrode. The edges of the fan are bent so they are
parallel to the cylinder wall. With a fast motor, the arc is extinquished
fast because the motor moves the fan edge quickly away from the inionized
air. At the same time the fan sucks in fresh air, blows out ionized air,
and cools the cylinder and itself. Just a thought. Has anyone experience
how this would perform?

thanks,
Jan
