Yes, that's an important point when cutting glass laminates. The stuff is as 
bad as fibreglass insulation. I have used (sacrificed) a fine-toothed, 
metal-cutting bandsaw blade. I also go to the trouble of clamping the nozzle 
of my big-suck shopvac right against
the cutting point to grab all that dust.
