Oklahoma Biggg coil update

  Progress continues on the Biggg coil.  The secondary coil is 
finished.  It is an open form 
2' dia x 10' long wound with 6000' of #14 P.V.C. wire.   The center is 
a 10' #40 P.V.C. pipe with 7 plywood disks equally spaced.  The disks 
are notched to accept 1" X 2" wood spars and 8 drain type P.V.C. 4" 
pipes, one on each spar.   Inductance 96 mH, 15 ohm d.c. resistance.

   Last weekend the 20 foot hoist tower is in place to lift the 200 LB 
secondary onto the roll out platform.  It was tested lifting a 250 LB 
pig (not the animal kind) using a compound pulley hoist with success.

 All that's left is the track for the roll cart & the primary coil 
assembly.   First firing is getting close, possible middle/late Summer 
if all goes well.
