ok... I'm looking at the mouser catalog and i found some interesting wire... it's tubular braided tinned copper wire... they have 7 and 1 awg it's not very think but it's current capacities are 88 and 190 amps respectively.... i was wondering if it would be worth it to get some of this and use it as a primary coil... or does it have any weird properties that would render it unusable in a tesla coil? thanks, Kelly
