Hi Gary,

Very nice experiment, but you may only compare the measured values if you
take unseen discharging into account. The copper tubing pieces are a
quarter inch apart. This gives unwanted discharging a change, because of
the less rounded
surface. You could check the two toroids on top of a Van de Graaff
generator. If the load-time before discharge to a mounted grounded object
is the same, you may assume that this parameter is out of the way!
