Re: Capacitor matched size

Hi!

At first I want to thank You for a wide answer.
Now I want to ask another question.
I will use in my TC static gap so I have to find a capacitor value that
will cause resonant rise of voltage.
Exactly I want to make a capacitor that will be close to matched size.
I don't know if it is a good idea , but I want to connect my transformer
secondary with a LV capacitor,
and use for example 6V 50Hz generator to power it.
Than I will be able to measure voltage on a capacitor with my LV meter
and find the capacitor that
causes the biggest voltage rise.
Will it be a good way to find a value of capacitor that schould be used
in TC.
I thought also to connect transformers secondary to 220v 50Hz and
measure current to find its
impedance (I will find resistance of secondary for 50Hz) and than use
this value to find size of capacitor.
Which method will be better?

Thanks
