To get things straight: 'The Statement' was for the count and is not what I
believe in. I'm one of the 'disbeliever's'.

Back to the subject: I think it would make more sense to suspect that the
four fields partly cancel each other out. Just connect two antenna's to a
transmitter, correct the impedance and rotate one 90 degree's in respect of
the other. It's not hard to predict the result...
