Hi, well small coils tend to be very fussy, difficult to keep tuned. first a
small toroid on top might help some. add some cap, tap goes in on
primary,add a little more toroid up top to bring the primary tap out. just a
little at a time. Perhaps giving us all the spec's for your coil will give
us more of a chance to help. a small toroid might be made from 2 childrens
aluminum dishwear glued rim to rim. Some of my larger toroids are made from
2 frypans the same way. cul brian f.
