Hello,

I am new to coiling and am currently scrounging parts
for my first coil. After lots and lots of reading
(particularly from this list) I think that the 15/30
nst is a bit much for my proposed coil.  I will be
using a variac to reduce input voltage and assume
output will drop linearly. Is this correct?  in other
words will I get say.. 125 volts out per 1 volt in? 
or is it not possible to overpower a coil.
