Hi Chris

May be I'll share the flame with you ;-). It was made before I
personally see a guy do it in 1967 at the Montreal world expo by
a guy of the scientology church. Here is my opinion I think you
could pass a reasonable amount of RF true your body BUT the
problem is you need a sufficient surface ( some square inch ) for
the current to enter and exit your body. Example if you use both
of your foot ( try salt water soak stoking may be ) and for exit
both of your hand on a metal stick ( to increase the contact
surface you could use conductive jelly like the one use with
defibrillator or electric physiotherapy machine ).

But you know the unpredictable nature of streamer if the current
choose an other part of your body to exit it'll hurt like hell (
remember the electric scalpel :-( ). If a 60 Hz HV current find
a way to surimpose to RF and it could happen ( Ex: primary to
secondary arc ) it's bye-bye! Chris, YOU'RE DEAD ! So much thing
could go wrong.

Many of the performer doing that trick use a conductive one-piece outfit.

I start playing with HV at young age around 6 ( build a small
VTTC with my father ) In the first couple of years I got a lot of
electric shock some bad, now I'm near 50 and I can't remember the
last time I got a shock. In my mind I consider that if I take a
shock it's because I use a bad experimental practice.

I hope I could help to discourage you to try it. From your post I
can see that you are a young men with a lots of projects doing a
lot of thinks. I know in life we need some time to take risk but
calculated risk.

With this post I probably will be consider like an old frightened
men but I take the risk.

Cheers,

Luc Benard
