Kevin,

Also, if the rotary gap spacing is rather wide, it can make it difficult
to add static series gaps.  But in your case, I would think the
voltage should be sufficient to jump a rather wide gap.  Your
results also suggest that "refiring" of rotaries (a la Robert Jamison),
is less likely in low bps systems, as would be expected anyway,
and as I've seen too.
