HEAVY wire

Hi All!, 
        I am looking for 600-1000 ft of #6 stranded, insulated wire, not 
necessarily magnet wire) in an unspliced piece. Best local price I've found 
is $0.19/ft. ( tax & S&H incl.) but their limit is 500ft/spool.  Since a 
1000-ft spool weighs about 100+lbs incl. spool, most places will kill me on 
shipping, even if price is lower. Anyone know a real cheap source? I will be 
in WV, OH, & MI end of this month and can pick up.
