If one has taken an oscilloscope to look at the currently accepted
dimmer based driver, one may note the timing _jitter_ often runs as much
as 2 milliseconds. IMHO, this is too far off the mark of "same time,
every time". Resistive loading does help the jitter situation to some
extent, at the expense of physically large power dissipating resistors.
For QAD, this may be acceptable to many. For aesthetics, the Rotary Rules.
