Robert:
I can relate. When I began building my first coil in Jan 2000, I did the
same thing. I called every sign shop in the Dallas Ft Worth area and was
basically told either they didn't carry 15/60s or they'd special order one
etc. Used? A joke.

So I just wound up biting the bullet. I had the funds. I was lucky and not a
high schooler on a tight budget. So I paid a distributor of Allanson
(allanson-dot-com)(NOT Alison) to sell me the 15/60 before the GFP circuit for
$140. It is fine and with Terry's MOV protection circuit, it is going
strong. sure, I later got some nice Franceformer 15/60s but at the inital
time I didn't know those who typically deal in used NSTs.

eBay is an auction! You will pay higher than usual. Especially if you do not
"know" your products.

Wish I could tell you better news. Perhaps others can be of greater
assistance in the bargain area.

Good day List,

Ok, people, Im new at this. Please spare me the babble about E-bay and
calling every neon sign shop in town. ive tried both these options and
nothing, as of yet, has managed to materialize in my search. I hate to be
blunt but ive spent well into 5 days straight trying to find a viable source
for the neon sign transformer(s) i need and nothing has appeared other than
the private email saying "yea, i sell them, on ebay. youll have to compete
with others to get what you want from me." What happened to good old
fashioned business logic?

With that aside, i need either one 15kv 60ma NST or 2 15kv 30ma NST's
I am also requesting that they be in good condition Ie: no broken/chipped
terminals, missing lids, or leaky canisters. In short, nothing wrong that a
paint job couldnt fix.

Sorry for the rant and godspeed:
Robert Evan Teet
