Hi Jonathon,

If it's a flat primary, you could simply add a couple turns to the inside
diameter
in the helical direction to increase coupling if you don't want to modify the
construction to allow the primary to be raised and/or the secondary to be
lowered.
It's difficult to know if you have less than optimal coupling until you
actually
test the coil.
