This is exactly what i do also.  The box is made by SIEMENS (make sure to
get SIEMENS circuit breakers)
Also, you'll need strain reliefs to feed your cable into the box and to
secure it.
All items including nice 12 AWG black rubber 3 conductor cable is available
at HOME DEPOT.
