Try your local power company... they usually have a few old pole pigs 
that have been taken out of service... same for bushings, wire, etc.
Be sure to specify OLD stuff.

If the main office gives you heck, don't give up... they are more than
likely just worried about liability issues.  Just go to one of the yards
where they keep the equipment, and talk to the manager at that location.
9 times out of 10, you will find such a yard on the same lot as one of
their substations... I've gotten several pieces of equipment that way,
such as porcelain bushings, and fuse jacks.
