	I agree.  I can't fathom most what of what you guys are saying, but
what I CAN understand is fascinating.  The only way advances are made in
science is by questioning existing wisdom.  If this "longitudinal wave"
thing does not pan out, the experiments and discussions intended to
prove or disprove their existence may lead to other important
discoveries relating to our hobby, and generally enlighten those
involved.  

	I don't mean to rile people up, but if you don't want to put up with
"nonsense", then don't read "nonsense" threads.  It's that simple.
