Toroid capacitance VS. Holdoff voltage

    Hi everyone, its Winston again.  I have another question.  How is
toroid capacitance related to holdoff voltage.  Does the voltage stored
vary directly with the capacitance, or does it relate more to the
surface area?  I have 2 toroids, that are within 2 pF of each other.
One is 8" by 22", and the other is 6" by 20".  Does the smaller one have
a significantly lower holdoff voltage?

    I've tried both on my 6 inch coil, and performance (and racing
sparks :-()) is essentially the same.
