I took a look at his web page. One thing I'ld watch out about is that he
listed "glassmike" capacitor as being acceptable for TC use. I had one
literally explode on me when I was just starting out in this hobby. I was
pretty scared at the time, and in retrospect this seems appropriate, as the
cap is contained in a glass tube which shatters into lots of small pieces
during the explosion. I'ld like to see that other people don't make this same
mistake. Similarly he has "mylar" listed as acceptable. While I've never
exploded one, I've never had one last more than 60 seconds (even on a tiny
6kV-20mA NST).

I do like the intent of the site though, I have also wanted to construct a
site the did cataloge things that people might want to try, but have already
been tried and proved to not work. Save people a lot of trouble.
