Hi, Terry.

Yep, everyone is straying far from the point. My point
was to use the strobe circuit as a source of high
voltage, high current, very fast pulses. There's a
high voltage generator built in, and the tube acts
like a triggered spark gap.

I was thinking of either those 120Vac strobe circuits
or the 12V strobe kits.

The main problem with this is the life of the xenon
strobe tube. Small ones will overheat and literally
explode if fired too quickly. They all have a
relatively short life of 10,000 to 100,000 flashes.

A camera circuit just won't fire fast enough.
