Without accounting for using rotary, a static gap would require a 0.069uF
tank cap, if a resonant one were employed. I believe that amounts to over
$1000 worth of Geek caps. If one were to use the transformer's full 15kVA
capabilities, were talking about one heck of an expensive coil. But its the
sort of transformer one dreams about.
