Hi, well all of my coils have no plugs at all, and one of my pvc white ones
still has dirt inside the id since i forgot to clean it! It is nice to be
able to look inside in case it's burning inside. If the coil is well tuned
there should be no problem..I found most of the arc-over/racing sparks
problems go away once you learned how to tune the coil. Everyone is a little
different!.
