Rotating sounds good, but horizontal? If the connecting terminals are at
the ends of the cylinder, then
they should be stored vertically (as other manufacturers do), otherwise the
the oil wicks out of the
windings and will take some time to wick back in if stored horizontal. I
would guess the risks increase
if the caps are put into Tesla service soon after being stored in the
horizontal position.
