Hi Matt,

Judging from the relatively small physical size, I suspect they're Mylar
caps. They appear to be similar to HiVolt's TPM or TLC series caps that
use a mixed dielectric(!) of Polyester/Polypropylene film. Per the
manufacturer, their target applications are for "high voltage power
supplies, general purpose bypass, coupling, filter applications,
electrostatic air cleaners, X-ray power supplies and traction". They
would likely be OK for a Marx generator, but I wouldn't bet they'd
survive for long in Tesla Coil service. The section of Hivolt's site

I'd look elsewhere for a TC tank cap...
