paper on stray capacitance of air core solenoids

Grandi, et.al., Stray Capacitances of Single Layer Solenoid Air-Core Inductors
IEEE Trans on Industry Applications V35, #5, Sept/Oct 99

Covers single layer solenoids, and deals with insulated wire(!) and a 
nonconductive core(!).. based on analytical approach and takes into account 
turn/turn and turn to shield capacitance (as well as skin effect)
