Moderator note - viruses

Original poster: "Terry Fritz" <twftesla-at-qwest-dot-net>

Hi All,

Just a reminder.

The Tesla list never sends out file attachments or anything but plain ASCII
text. If you see post from the list (or "apparently" from the list) with
file attachments, it is probably a virus.

There seems to be some new virus that can fake not only addresses but
entire e-mails and they attach a virus to it. So even if it says or looks
like it may be from this list, even if it has a Tesla related text part, if
it has a file attachment, it is probably a virus.

Some mail systems add innocent *.vcf files but you probably know about that
already if it affects you.

I think this new one takes on old e-mail and returns or resends it with the
virus attached. Probably like the Outlook address viruses but now it does
the whole e-mail too....

In general, if you get any e-mail with any attachments you do not expect,
be afraid...

Cheers,

	Terry
