I'm not sure if this is the "best" way, but it works fine as far as I can
tell. Some people dislike drilling holes into the coilform and want it
sealed up. It can arc over on the outside just as easily as on the inside so
I don't care. This way your wire never slips off and you don't keep breaking
the end off.

find 75 cents of hardware:

drill three holes just larger than your wire at the top and borrom of the
windings:

thread the wire in, out and in again. I attach the top terminal inside the
pvc coil form, and groung one ouside:

Toroid is large and heavy and sits on top of canned food for elevation. I
figure if you hit it hard enough to fall off, you've already knocked
everything over anways.
