Well, the arc is like a raging cutting torch just waiting for something to
destroy. i tried a ceramic disk from a very old hard drive about 1/4 inch
thick. i drilled nice holes with a diamond drill. it worked for about 5
minutes then the ceramic just started vaporizing and then hot globs of fire
starting ceramic ended any further use. arc's are just brutal on everything!
