having motorized items near the sparkgap just might increase the RF into 
the wiring a tad bit more but if your coil is spitting out 4'+ streamers 
anyway....  the RF is getting into the wiring anyway.  

When I run my BIGPIG coil, the voltage sensor ( penlite sized item that 
senses voltage behind walls and near wall sockets )  I have goes 
bananas.  My alarmed wife came outside frantically yelling something 
about yellow flashes eminating from my desk in the office.   Come to 
find out it was the voltage sensor ( about 35' away from the T coil at 
that)  which was the culprit.....  

Even with a seperate RF ground and a strike rail, I still managed to 
screw up the electronics in the oven ( wife not happy about that)  but 
than again the BIGPIG does 10-12' streamers easily...
