Re: Mag amps and generators ?

Hi Mark,

Tesla did use alternators at about 10Khz. The results and construction are
covered in the TCM text, The Inventions, Researches And Wrightings of Nicola
Tesla. I have considered having a similar generator built up by Kohler, but
as of yet, I have never moved on that front. If I remember correctly, high
frequency generators were used on old spark rigs, with very high break
rates, allowing telephony. At 10Khz you could break at 20kbps which might
become inaudible, execpt for dogs, and streamers might also become
inaudible. Humm, quiet high voltage fun??? It might be worth building a
2KW unit.

Keep praying for the troops!
