hi,
     imho i would say very little difference. i bet you could build a load of
secondaries and the spark length purely based on material change would be
unoticible.
you do get more losses with different materials but if you use any of the
common ones such as pvc acryllic or pe the only difference would be run
times before the former got hot for the lossy types
