	"Digital" engineers aren't always aware that fundamentally ALL circuits
are analog in nature, and often screw up in designs because of not
enough appreciation of the inductance of leads, lead lengths, etc.  Good
ones aren't, and would cringe at the thought of using anything near a TC
which wasn't thorougly protected against HV transients.
