That sounds like a Sprague part number, something I know nothing about.
Cera-mite tookover the Sprague line of ceramics. I cannot find mine now, but
the "KT" or "KTT" or something like that series seem pretty tough, and is
rated for AC use. Mine outlasted 3 neon sign transformers, and are still ok.
They were 40kV units and I used them with 9kV transformers. They never got
more than slightly warm. I'd be wary of using 15kV ceramic caps in your
case. They are bound to fail pretty fast without a decent deration.
