Re: SSTC PCB Boards - Anyone interested ? ? ?

Not sure yet. I changed plans from originally using a half-bridge to now
going with a full-bridge design basically because to get volume in an audio
modulated SSTC,
you need to ionize and move a lot of air. I'll need the extra voltage
output to be able to pull longer arcs. What this means is a larger board
which will probably end up running
at least $70 each for a bareboard in small quantities. Also, I am using the
ISO-Pack type FETs such as the IXFN24N100 and similar series. For the
design a variety of this
series will work with the board (even up to 240V input) ranging from 500V to
1000V FETs, however the ISO-Pack type FETs i'm designing for do cost
anywhere between $30 and $50
each depending on which FET you use.

I still am getting boards made, but the price will again be around $70-80
per bare board (for very small quantities). So if anyone is still
interested, let me know.
Thanks

Dan
