Remember, atop a Tesla coil a toroid will actually have a capacitance 10%
less than it's free air capacitance.  The coil below acts as a shield for
the electrostatic lines and reduce the cap value approx 10%.

We measured this value for most all coils with a toroid to coilform dia.
ratio of 2:1.  7.5% works good if the ratio is 3:1.

Some programs may address this and automatically deduct it but you need to
ask the programmer if this has already been deducted in his program --- some
don't.
