McMaster-Carr is the usual fall back for hardware. Fast delivery, prices are
typically about 20% over what you would pay if you spent several days
calling around and scrounging.

The other thing to do is to check the Thomas Register (big green books at
the library & also online) and look for a mfr of such things.

Finally, you could fairly easily immersion plate steel washers in copper
sulfate, but of course, then, you wouldn't get the high thermal conductivity
you're looking for.

I assume you've done the obvious: google for "copper washer"

Marine supply places also are likely to have copper and brass stuff.
