Hurray Ed!!

I've used flat spiral primarys in all coil designs from 2 inch dia up to 48
inch dia. They always work well, never get racing sparks, and seldom
overcouple. On our larger dia. we usually elevate the first turn of the
sec. coil.

. My advice is to always build flat primaries.
