Hi Michael,

Yes, I used a saturated solution, mixing the copper sulfate in the
five gallon bucket that serves as the container for the Geek Cap.
It's filled approximately 2/3 up to the top, with the Corona beer
bottles nested inside, so counting the solution inside the bottles
as well, there's about 3 gallons all together. I used very hot
water while mixing the solution and after it had cooled down to
room temperature some of the copper sulfate precipitated out.

I used the entire 500 gram (0.5 U.S. quart) container of Xenex
brand copper sulfate to mix the batch. I can't find the receipt
to give you the exact price, but I recall it was about $6.00 all
totalled including sales taxes. I KNOW it was less than $10.
You might find that prices at a big drug store like Wallgreens
or other chain will be cheaper than the "root killer" prices.
