What happened to Richard Quick?

Hello all,
The answer to this question seems to elude those of us new to this hobby.
Out of curiosity what did happen to Richard Quick? It is almost as if he 
just vanished from existence (at least from the Tesla world). Below is the 
name of the last post I could find left by RQ.
