Hi Bart,

I did some experiments with my 27XT.  I used the same fake tank cap of 29
nF.  I was able to lower the resistance of a parallel "bleeder" resistor
down to about 10K without affecting the meter reading.  Wonderful!  At about
6.8K the 27XT indicated 30 nF.  So yes, the 27XT is a very friendly meter,
and quite unaffected to normal tank cap bleeders.  (Do you know if they are
still marketed?  I smoked all but the L, C & F functions on mine.)
