All,
Forgive me for pushing the SSDTC abreviation, but I still think it is more
a Solid State Disruptive Tesla Coil than an Off Line Tesla Coil.
I think I have the design Pretty much nailed down by now, here are pictures
of the second one I`ve built, or am building.

shows the individual parts for the primary circuit. The bricks on the
cooler. I prefer to keep 2 separate capacitor clusters, one for each brick,
rather than 2 separate coils. If one brick fails, the current in the other
will remain the same, but the res. freq. will rize which may aid in
debugging the fault. Copper, 80mills stained from the hydrocloride acid
bath that cleaned it after all the thrashing and soldering performed prior
to this picture taken.

Here the bussbar/capacitor cluster back-plates are in position.

Here is a rather descriptive picture of the primary circuit, priveious to
mounting the individual caps.

With the capacitors in place, it is time to check the resonant frequency of
the primary circuit. It checked out at 67kHz, as it should. Boy do I wish i
had left the scope in 1-shot mode for this picture, but never mind.
Another load of newyears wishes for you all here from Denmark, I think I`l
go light up one of those COHIBA`s I`ve got stashed.
Cheers, Finn Hammer
